Il progetto Sunset Radio nasce a Ravenna nel 2016 da molteplici influenze spaziando dal PunkRock californiano 90’ per arrivare all’Alternative italiano passando per sfumature Hardcore e Pop.

Nel 2016 esce il primo ep “Dreams, Memories and late night” seguito a brevissimo dalla pubblicazione del primo album “Vices” in uscita per l’etichetta italiana “This Is Core”.

Seguono due anni di tour internazionali coprendo Italia, Svizzera, Austria, Russia e Giappone.

Nell’Ottobre del 2018 la band pubblica il secondo album “ All The Colors Behind You” seguito da tour in Italia e Giappone.

Nel 2020 esce a livello indipendente un EP di cinque tracce “Seasons”, che rappresenta la prima collaborazione con Fabrizio Panbarco (PanMusic, Melody Fall) come produttore.

A Novembre 2022 la band ravennate esce con il terzo disco “Thank You, Goodbye!”, album sicuramente più maturo e con influenze più Alternative/Pop rispetto ai precedenti (il disco contiene un brano in Italiano, Domenica).

“Thank you, Goodbye!” sarà l’ultimo disco della band con Andrea come cantante, che dopo sette anni lascia la band.

Al suo posto “Ennie”, precedentemente frontman dei cesenati “Now.Here”, con il quale il 19 Gennaio uscirà a livello indipendente “Pagine”, primo singolo di una nuova era targata Sunset Radio.

Nel corso degli anni la band ha condiviso il palco con centinaia di bands, tra cui: Millencolin, Bad Religion, Suicidal Tendencies, Zebrahead, Satanic Surfers, Punkreas, Teenage Bottlerocket, Our Last Night.

Their sound comes from the Californian Punk Rock of the 90s, with influences between hardcore and modern pop punk. In 2016 they released their first ep: Dreams, Memories and late night, which gives a taste of what the band wants to convey to the public. After a few months, on November 2nd their first LP, Vices, was released for the This is core, followed by a European tour in November, Italian in January and February and in March the Russian one. In October 2017 they leave for Japan for a 7-date tour. Their first single Upside Down was broadcast several times on Virgin Radio Italia. In early 2018 they already have their second album ready, which in October 2018 is presented on the Bronson stage in Ravenna, and distributed all over the world. They leave for the second Japanese tour in November 2018. In 2019 they play in the oncology and pediatrics ward of the Ravenna hospital, as well as producing a new EP outgoing for the first few months of 2020. Despite 2 difficult years, both in 2020 and in 2021 they collect a series of promotional dates for the ep Seasons released in November 2020. The third album of the Ravenna-based band, always followed by the production of Fabrizio Panebarco (Melody Fall, Pan Music Production) will be released in 2022.
